It’s time to get those school supplies together to donate! The 16th annual Mike and Tricia Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive is officially gets underway.

As the new school year draws closer, many children inour area will lack the supplies they need to enter the classroom ready to learn. Hi, we’re Mike and Tricia, and with your help we can give these children the necessary resources to succeed via our annual Stuff the Bus School Supplies Drive.

From now through Friday, August 24, the 93.1 KISS-FM van and the Region 19 school bus will be parked at the following locations between 7 – 9 a.m serving as a drop off point for your back to school donations:

Monday August 20 – Wal Mart parking lot on Transmountain
•Tuesday August 21 – Wal Mart parking lot on Joe Battle
•Wednesday August 22 – Walgreens parking lot on Geronimo and I-10 West
•Thursday August 23 – Big Lots parking lot on Mesa and Resler
•Friday August 24 – Bassett Parking lot under the electronic sign

All the school supplies collected will be donated to the Price’s Creameries Give ‘Em Five Program for distribution.

Here is a list of essential items we’re targeting, but by all means give what you can:

• Pencils, Pens, Crayons, Markers, Highlighters, Erasers
• Loose-leaf Paper, Spiral Notebooks
• Folders, 3-Ring Binders
• Pencil Boxes, Kleenex, Hand Sanitizer
• Glue Sticks or Bottles

Not all families have room in their budgets for new school materials. They simply aren’t within reach for those struggling to make ends meet. Fortunately, you and I are there for them! Our thanks in advance for your help.
