It was on this day in 1977 that the ’King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’, Elvis Presley, died of heart failure at his Graceland mansion. His girlfriend, Ginger Alden, discovered his body on the bathroom floor.

Medical tests later revealed he had 14 drugs in his system. And probably a peanut butter and ‘nana sandwich or two, as well! Over the years, audio tapes of lost Elvis songs and recorded conversations have turned up. But none as compelling as this: audio of Elvis Presley’s final moments on the Throne …
