Hi, it’s Mike and Tricia. Our annual Pink Ribbon Week campaign is set for the week of Oct. 12. Every morning that week, we, along with volunteers from the El Paso chapter of Koman for the Cure -- and the young ladies from Zeta Tau Alpha -- will be handing out education materials with important breast health information, self examination shower cards, and Pink Ribbons in honor of those who have fought or are now fighting the battle against breast cancer

We’ve dedicated one week of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the past 15 years to furthering the awareness and importance of early detection. Many lives can be saved if the necessary steps to identify this terrifying disease in its early stages are taken. That’s what Mike and Tricia’s Annual Pink Ribbon Week hopes to make you mindful of the most; that early detection is your best protection.

So look for the 93.1 KISS-FM van between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. at one of the locations listed below, and make it a point to stop by and pick up the information that could save your or your loved one’s life:

Monday, Oct. 12 – Walmart Supercenter, 4530 Woodrow Bean/Transmountain
Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Walmart Supercenter, 1850 N Zaragoza
Wednesday, Oct. 14 – Walgreens parking lot, Geronimo and I-10 West
Thursday, Oct. 15 – Big Lots parking lot, Mesa and Resler
Friday, Oct. 16 – Walgreen’s parking lot, 12201 Montwood
