Mike and Tricia Observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month with 12th Annual Pink Ribbon Week

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and that means it’s almost time for MIKE and TRICIA’S 12th Annual Pink Ribbon Week!
Look for 93.1 KISS-FM and the El Paso chapter of Koman for the Cure at a different location every morning the week of October 1 – 5. We’ll be handing out pink ribbons in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month — and in honor of those who have fought or are now fighting the battle against breast cancer — along with breast education and screening information.
While a lot of us are aware of the terrifying and sometimes devastating disease, many forget to take the steps to detect it in its early stages. That’s what Mike and Tricia’s Annual Pink Ribbon Week is all about — getting the word out, and encouraging as many of our listeners as possible about early detection.
