Mike and Tricia Listeners Weigh-in on ‘Pet Names’ Couples Use That Women Hate the Most

The British website Siteopia did some research on couples and their pet names and found that only one in five people call their partner by their actual name all the time. The other four have pet names for each other.

And although 'Babe' has become one of the most common terms of endearment used by couples, it was voted the most hated pet name for women. ‘Sweetcheeks’, ‘Snookums’ 'Baby doll' and  ‘Muffin’ were also definite no no's.

Because only Brits were surveyed, we wanted to know which pet name husbands or boyfriends of Mike and Tricia listeners had for them that they absolutely hated, and why.

Patricia Reese-Zuck  commented on our Facebook Wallthat she wasn't down with 'Lassie.' "A cute Irish term," she wrote, "but in America it has a different meaning." Angie A.
