Mother's Day is a great time to reflect on all the stellar advice your mother has given you over the years. Moms just seem to have a knack for  sharing memorable words of wisdom. So we asked our listeners what the best piece of advice their mother ever gave them was. The responses ran the gamut; from the practical to the philosophical to the somewhat questionable. Like the relationship advice Mike and Tricia's  "Love Psychic" Jeannie Wilson's mom gave her:

Listeners Liz and Joanne's mothers gave them a bit more practical advice:

Here's a sampling of some of the best advice mom gave some of our Facebook fans:

-Toni Guski: When he screws up, and he will, don't tell your mom- tell his mom.
-Allison Cardenas: Follow your heart, but take your brain with you.
-Claudia MacCas: Marry someone who loves you more than you love him
-Sebastian Muniz: Always respect a lady and treat her like a diamond
-Rena Nishikawa: Never be dependent on a man
-Ida Elisa Delaney: Don't be afraid to spank your kids on the butt! There will be one time they'll really need/deserve it

Whether it's to scold or teach, I think we can all agree mothers only offer advice on two occasions: when you want it and when you don't!  Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
