Many children look forward to arriving on the first day of school with new notebooks, backpacks, and pencil boxes, but it's a different story for children whose families can not afford these items. Because their families struggle financially, thousands of El Paso area children start the school year without the necessary supplies to succeed academically.

Hi, we're Mike and Tricia, and we're asking you to help us give these children the necessary resources to succeed via our annual Stuff the Bus School Supplies Drive.

Every morning starting Monday, August 20 through Friday, August 24, the 93.1 KISS-FM van and the Region 19 school bus will be parked at the following locations between 7 – 9 a.m serving as a drop off point for your back to school donations:

Monday August 20 - Wal Mart parking lot on Transmountain
Tuesday August 21 - Wal Mart parking lot on Joe Battle
Wednesday August 22 – Walgreens parking lot on Geronimo and I-10 West
Thursday August 23 – Big Lots parking lot on Mesa and Resler
Friday August 24 – Bassett Parking lot under the electronic sign

All the school supplies we collect from you will be donated to the Price’s Creameries Give ‘Em Five Program for distribution.

When you do your Back to School shopping for your own children this week/weekend, please consider picking up a few more of whatever you're getting and help us Stuff the Bus with school supplies. Every little bit helps!
