16-year-old Cali Hetfield, daughter of James Hetfield, front man for the band Metallica, has some singing skills just like her papa as seen in this video that recently surfaced.

A fan shot this footage of the father-daughter duo on stage for the annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefiting the UCSF Benoiff Children’s Hospital. The pediatric cancer program was created by James Hetfield and singer Sammy Hagar who once fronted the band Van Halen. Hetfield acted as emcee that night and even performed a few numbers of his own including a tribute to the late B.B. King.

Other performers of the night included Linda Perry, Adam Sandler, Pat Monahan of Train, Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, and even Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

If Cali is belting out tunes like this at 16, she has a bright future as a singer if she chooses to pursue a singing career and with veteran rocker dad by her side she’ll have plenty of support.
