Mesilla Valley Mall Having Dog Event Next Wednesday

Ever wanted to bring your pooch shopping with you in the mall? If you live in Las Cruces, now you can!

The Mesilla Valley Mall is now allowing customers to bring their pooches with them to shop this Wednesday. There will even be special events planned on Wednesday for you to do with your furry companions. The Chick-Fil-A in the mall will even be offering dog treats and a water bowl to make the dogs feel more welcome. The dog-friendly events will be free for owners to participate in. This coming Wednesday, there will be a pet business event that will allow local-businesses to advertise their services at various booths. If you are a business interested in participating in this event, contact the mall by Aug. 17.

Owners and their dogs must enter through the entrance by the movie theater. All well-behaved, leashed dogs are more than welcome to join. Owners are asked to always be with their dog and if they make a mess, please clean it up. Any stores that are participating in the dog event will have a paw print in the window of their store, acknowledging that your pup is welcome.
