Khaliya Kimberlie of Mescalero, New Mexico gave it her all on NBC's The Voice Tuesday (Oct.11), but was knocked out of the singing competition during the battle round.

The sixteen year old went head-to-head with 27 year old team member Maye Thomas dueling it out to the Cardigans ballad For What It’s Worth.

In the end, though, coach Miley Cyrus chose Thomas over Khaliya, and although one of the other celebrity coaches could have “stolen” Khaliya, none chose to add her to their team effectively ending her time on the show.

Khliya’s battle performance received very little air time. Only a snippet was aired as part of a montage that also included  a few seconds of El Pasoan Elia Esparza’s battle.

Kimberlie selected Miley as her coach after Cyrus and Blake Shelton turned their chairs around during her performance in the Blind Auditions.

The studio performance of her and Thomas’ full Battle Round song is available on iTunes.
