Fort Bliss National Cemetery will be holding a memorial service for unaccompanied Veterans on Thursday, September 24, 2017.

VA’s Fort Bliss National Cemetery will be conducting a memorial service recognizing those veterans who were interred without family present.

Unaccompanied Veterans buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery from July through September 2017 will be honored by the El Paso Marine Honor Unit providing three rifle volleys, the rendering of “Taps,” and the folding and presentation of our country’s flag.

VA’s Fort Bliss National Cemetery ensures no Veteran is ever left behind after they pass away and El Paso residents are encouraged to attend. For more information contact James Porter at 915-564-0202.
