Check Out Mariah Carey’s Massive 35-Carat Engagement Ring

Mariah Carey's engagement to James Packer has been confirmed -- and the sparkler the billionaire beau put on her finger is epic.

According to various gossip site reports, it's a whopping 35-carats. To put the size of the rock in perspective, it’s as big as Kim Kardashian and Beyonce’s engagement rings combined. It also trumps actress Elizabeth Taylor’s famously enormous 33-carat ring given to her by Richard Burton.

James collaborated with Mariah’s jewelry designer friend Wilfredo Rosado to create the ring. Though the stone is huge, the overall design was kept simple. The diamond is set on a platinum band with two smaller diamonds on either side. There’s also an empty space on the back of the band, which James said he eventually wants to engrave with a special message for Mariah.
