Man Shoots At Dona Ana County Deputy And It’s Caught On Dash Cam [VIDEO]

A man who pulled a shotgun on a Dona Ana County Deputy is on trial, and the video of the incident was caught on the officer's dash cam.

25 year old Clemente Vasquez De La Cruz is on trial for attempted murder for allegedly shooting at the sheriff's deputy during a traffic stop earlier this year. Deputies say Vasquez De La Cruz was sitting in a car on a Las Cruces street around 3 o'clock in the morning when a deputy approached his car and asked if he needed help.

You can see in the video that Vasquez De La Cruz jumped out the car, and appears to fire a shotgun at deputy Scot Bayles. Bayles fired back and wounded Vasquez De La Cruz. He took off and was apprehended a half mile away.
