Man Dies In Horrific Accident In East El Paso

A man was crushed to death in a horrible accident last night on the city's east side.  The picture of what his truck looked like after the accident should be enough to make sure you always keep your eyes on the road.

The details of the accident are sketchy, but we do know the man, 61 year old Paul Wayne Tims was probably speeding on the on ramp at I-10 East near Horizon Blvd., when he slammed into the back of a semi.  Socorro police say it appears the man never hit his brakes.  The man was not drinking at the time of the accident, but clearly something went wrong.
