Malia Obama Safe In The Aftermath Of Mexico Earthquake

Mexico suffered a 7.4 earthquake earlier today.  The epicenter was in Ometepec in the southern state of Guerrero.  The White House has confirmed that 13 year old Malia Obama was in Mexico today as part of a spring break trip, but was never in danger.

People who were in the quake said they expected it to pass quickly, but residents say it was much longer than usual.  There are reports of damage, but so far, no casualties.  Mexico City's airport closed for a time but has reopened.  Details are still pouring in, but this is the latest from ABC News.  Our prayers are with the residents in Mexico...
