After both Magic and Daya performed at the County Colesium on Wednesday, July 27 we met up a Dave & Buster’s for a night of games and a whole lot of fun.

Nasri, lead singer of Magic is a huge fan of Dave & Buster’s and we pretty much played up until they kicked us out. One of Nasri’s favorite things to do is to shoot some hoops at home, on the road and anytime his schedule allows. He’s actually pretty good and after beating us at his favorite pastime he took on the staff at Dave & Buster’s, some of who actually beat him a couple of times.

Daya, I’ve got to say is the sweetest and smartest girl I’ve met in a while. She chatted with us about her journey and was so excited to go to college soon. She’s a 17-year-old girl who just graduated high school and is now eyeing UCLA or NYU for her future. She even revealed how in the fourth grade, the class had a contest to see who could memorize the most digits in Pi, which is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159 (though, in fact, it never ends). Daya said that she was so focused on winning that she actually memorized 500 digits and, sure enough, won hands-down. Years later, she actually can spit out those digits without a second thought and gave us an impressive preview as can be seen in the short video below.

Both Daya and Magic are currently out of tour in 2016.
