Lorde Turns Down the Chance to Open for Katy Perry

The much anticipated Katy Perry World Tour begins in a few months. Katy Perry needs an opening act so she asked Grammy Award winning artist Lorde.

Incredibly to many, Lorde politley turned her down. Lorde said during a recent radio interview, "I think..in the really early stages of an artist's career it's important for them to establish themselves...I'm just bsically really stubborn and I want to be really independent. So I want to be headlining my own shows instead of supporting someone else."
