IN DENIAL - KIM KARDASHIAN REFUTES CLAIMS SHE'S ILLUMINATI: KIM KARDASHIAN may seemingly rule the world, but she's no Illuminati -- at least that's what she wants us to believe. The controversy started after Kim wished her pal Brittny Gastineau a happy birthday on Instagram. Kim attached a collage of photos featuring pictures of the two women together, and within the photo was a triangle and an eye image commonly associated with the secret society.

So, putting two and two together, many on the World Wide Web of Celebrity Conspiracy Theories now believe Kim is part of the shadowy group that some believe controls the world. Kim seemed confused by the response to the pic. "I posted a IG collage for my BFF @BrittGastineau & people say its the illuminate!" She Tweeted, adding, "What is the illuminate? A religion?… I’m a Christian. A cult?… not into that sorry!" Of course, that's exactly what a member of the Illuminati would say!

SELENA GOMEZ VS. LORDE - WHO YOU GOT?: The ongoing war of words between SELENA GOMEZ and LORDE flared up again, and now Selena, who has been covering Lorde's song "Royals" on some of her tour stops, says she might not do it anymore.

Lorde, you see, has been criticizing her in the media. Lorde doesn't like the fact that Selena's song "Come and Get It" depicts a passive woman who just waits around for a guy to come and take her. But in an interview in the December issue of Flaunt magazine, Selena accuses Lorde of being more anti-feminist for trying to undermine other female singers.

But Lorde is sticking by her comment. She says, quote, "I think there's a funny culture in music that's only happened over the last 15 years, and that is...if you have an opinion about something in music which isn't 100% good, you're a hater, even if you have perfectly reasonable grounds for that critique. I mean, I don't think I say anything that isn't backed up."

IN DENIAL - PAULA DEEN DIDN'T KICK OUT CHEATING HUSBAND: PAULA DEEN has lost much of her cooking empire this year, but she's not losing her husband. Despite the not-always-reliable National Enquirer claiming Deen kicked her hubby Michael Groover out for having a mistress, a source tells the equally not-always-reliable Us Magazine, "This story is absolutely not true. Michael adores her and Paula adores him. They are completely fine." The Enquirer claimed Michael had been seeing a "sexy middle-age brunette" who has been a family friend for years.

Meanwhile ... Sources say the couple has been spending a lot more time together lately, and word is things are going well. Lamar was at KRIS JENNER'S birthday party Tuesday and one witness says they were, quote, "getting on very well and were couple-y together." On the other hand, the paparazzi caught up to Lamar and asked him how things are going with Khloe, and he didn't answer, he just kind of grinned -- which some people are taking as a bad sign.

COULD BE TRUE, COULD BE CRAP - ASHTON TO MARRY MILA ONCE DIVORCE FROM DEMI IS FINAL: ASHTON KUTCHER can’t wait for his divorce from DEMI MOORE to be final, because sources say he’s more than ready to get married again. Radaronline reports that Ashton not only wants to wed girlfriend MILA KUNIS as soon as he’s legally free, he wants to start a family too. An insider told Radar, “Ashton has made no secret of the fact that he wants to have a baby and he’s told his family that they’re not taking any ‘precautions’ against having a baby.” Adds the source, “They don’t really care if marriage comes before baby, in fact, they don’t think they have to be married to have a child.”

UPDATE - CHARLIE SHEEN'S EXES SIT DOWN TO DISCUSS CHILDREN: DENISE RICHARDS and BROOKE MUELLER met yesterday with a representative of the Department of Children and Family Services to discuss the custody of Brooke's 4-year-old twin sons with CHARLIE SHEEN. Denise has temporary custody of Bob and Max, but she recently wrote a letter to the DFCS saying she couldn't handle them anymore because they're basically running amok and are in-freaking sane.

Although Denise was reportedly still not sure she wanted to keep the boys, they did agreed the twins have suffered significant psychological damage due to their tumultuous family situation. The DCFS acknowledged that the goal is to get Brooke back into a position where she can resume custody. Charlie was also invited to the meeting, but declined to attend. Presumably because of the temporary restraining order which not only includes a gag order, but prohibits him from going within 200 yards of Mueller, or contacting her.
