Listeners write Mike and Tricia with their thoughts, comments, and problems. The latest is from a listener who writes to us on behalf of a co-worker friend whose fiancee does not want to wear a wedding band. Read the email below, then scroll down to the “leave a comment” box and tell us what you think.

“My co-worker’s fiancée asked her to marry him and they were planning to have a small wedding next weekend. It’s important [to her that he] wear a wedding band but he [told her he] does not want to wear one. He said he was worried it would get damaged or lost?!!!?

[My co-worker] would like to know what [your listeners] take on men wearing a wedding band is. Is this not… a tradition anymore?”

Should she be worried that he doesn’t want to wear a wedding band? Do you have an idea for a compromise?
