I’m a teacher and so I get summers off. But I still take my kids to day care from 7 a.m to 5 p.m three out of five days of the week. My friends tease me all the time saying I’m a bad mom for doing that, but I just need some time to myself and away from kids. They joke about it so much that I’m now starting to wonder if maybe they’re not just teasing and if I really am a horrible mom. Does taking my kids to daycare so I can go shopping,  do lunch with my girl friends and work on stuff around the house in peace make me a bad mom?
