Legendary Andres High School football coach, Allan Sepkowitz has died.

Sepkowitz died Thursday evening after being admitted to a hospital on Christmas Eve to undergo emergency brain surgery. While he was recovering, he suffered a seizure and stroke.

Coach Sep, as he was affectionately known, was El Paso's winningest high school football coach.
Sepkowitz retired from Andress after 47 years as the football coach, he said forty-seven years has really gone by pretty fast.

His former players said the impact he had on them would stay with them the rest of their lives.

Funeral arrangements for Coach Sepkowitz are pending.
