Learn to make scrumptious Mexican cuisine with these local cooking classes.

We live in a city where there’s a Mexican restaurant on practically every corner but unless you grew getting tips from Abuelita you probably can’t just whip up a traditional Mexican meal.

If you love to cook and are looking to open yourself up to learning new recipes then you may consider taking these cooking classes being offered by La Mujer Obrera at Café Mayapan.

The classes continue now through September 13 and will cover some basic recipes such as how to make salsa all the way to making tamales.

I myself do love to cook,  unfortunately I don’t do it often enough and cooking for one isn’t as fun but I may just consider taking one or two of these cooking classes just to refresh my skills and learn some new cooking techniques.

By the way if you’ve never had lunch at Café Mayapan, you are missing out – they truly serve up some tasty dishes specializing in Mexican cuisine made fresh daily.

Cooking classes will take place 2000 Texas Ave, El Paso, TX 79901 through September 13, 2018 – for more information call 915-217-1126.

Fees for each cooking class is $35 and can be purchased at Eventbrite.com with all proceeds will benefit La Mujer Obrera which is a nonprofit organization that aims to empower women on the border.
