Latinitas Offers Summer Camps For Young Girls
If you are still looking for something fun for your little girl to do this summer, you can still sign her up for a local media camp hosted by Latinitas.
Three more week-long camps are still available for young girls in grades 4th- 8th. Each camp has a different theme that helps empower young women by teaching them media skills and getting them in fun interactive exercises.
They are currently holding the Multimedia Arts camp from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. where girls can participating in interactive activities using media tools to express themselves through confidence building exercises. There are a few more spots remaining in the Multimedia Arts camp, but you still have plenty of time to register for the next two, Be YOUunique and Tech Chica.
Be YOUunique will get the girls involved with a activities promoting self-esteem and a healthy lifestyle featuring Zumba workouts, yoga, and manicures/pedicures, as just a few of the activities will be participating in.
Tech Chica involves more activities that involve lessons in media tools for the girls to use to express themselves. Guest speakers and fun tech activities such as creating podcasts and websites will be taught to the girls.
