Artists who would like to participate in Chalk the Block have until Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 to get registered.

Chalk the Block is now the largest arts festival in the region, and draws 38,000 El Pasoans and visitors to the Downtown Arts District each year.

El Paso and surrounding area artists who are interested in participating in this year’s Chalk the Block festival must have their applications turned in no later than 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015.

Artists Catagories:

  • Applications are being accepted for chalk artists and pop-up window mural artists for Chalk the Block 8.
  • Chalk Artists can apply in one of three categories – advanced, intermediate or high school.
  • Advanced and intermediate artist opportunities are available for artists 18 and older.
