El Paso born, Las Cruces raised professional boxer Austin "No Doubt" Trout will fight tonight for the IBF super welterweight belt.

Coming off four consecutive victories, Trout gained a title shot to re-capture the coveted International Boxing Federation super welterweight belt against undefeated champion Jermall Charlo from Houston, Texas. Going into this fight, Trout has a record of 30 wins and 2 losses with 17 knockouts while Charlo has 0 losses and 23 wins with 18 of those being knockouts.

“My confidence is soaring,” Trout said in an interview posted on the LA Times website. “I’m a big believer in destiny and I feel the stars are lining up. Timing is everything. It’s the matchup and the feeling of being strong and sharp. It feels like the right time.”

He also took to his twitter account to post this about the big fight tonight: "Tonight is the night!!! My most important fight of my life. I call upon my prayer warriors to lift me up in prayer! Pray that He gives me Strength, Wisdom, safety and His will be done; within me, through me, and for me. Thank you all so much."
