According to a new report, Las Cruces is among the hardest-working cities in the United States!

The report ranked Las Cruces as the seventh-hardest working city in America! The report was released by PARADE Magazine and Total Cereal and ranked cities based on the average hours worked per capita, employees willingness to work during personal time, number of dual income homes and local employment rates.

According to the report, Las Cruces scored 5 points above the rest of the country when it came to giving up personal time and 6 points more than the rest of the United States in giving up weekend days. The report says 77 percent of households are dual-income.

According to the report, here's the top 10 hardest-working cities:

  2. Hartford, Conn.
  3. Norfolk, Va.
  4. Bloomington, Ind.
  5. Tuscaloosa, Ala.
  6. Gainesville, Fla.
  7. Las Cruces
  8. Newark, N.J.
  9. Lansing, Mich.
  10. Bridgeport, Conn.
