Las Cruces Dog Shot and Killed in Backyard – Crime Stoppers Offering Reward

 Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information on the shooter of the dog. The incident happened Friday at the 4400 block of Los Arboles Court. When the resident came home around 7:30 p.m., he found his 9-year-old mini-schnauzer dead in the backyard. Police said it appears as though the dog was shot with either a small caliber gun or air gun.
