KVIA’s Estela Casas Announces End Of Chemo And Double Mastectomy

Estela Casas, longtime KVIA anchor and all-around great lady, announced three months ago that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. On December 28, she took to Facebook to celebrate her last day of chemo and announce that she would have a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

This is not Estela's first bout with cancer. She was diagnosed with and underwent treatment for thyroid cancer in 2010. She successfully fought that, and we are sending hopes and prayers that Estela can once again win her battle with cancer and get back on the road to recovery.
