This new "Spice Girl" like group sensation hales from Japan! They are very interesting to say the least down to how they became stars in their native country, to their bold fashion! The Wonder Girls are making waves!

The meaning behind the group's name, 'Wonder Girls', comes from the idea that they are "the girls who can amaze the world".

The Wonder Girls were introduced to the world on an MTV show titled MTV Wonder Girls. I'm thinking it was a Japan version of P. Diddy's "Make The Band' on BET.

The Wonder Girls officially debuted in early 2007 on MBC's Show Music Core, performing "Irony", the hip-hop single from their debut single album, The Wonder Begins. It wasn't until 2007 that they were actually introduced the world on a MTV show titled MTV Wonder Girls. I'm thinking it was a Japan version of P. Diddy's "Make The Band' on BET.

The group consists of 5 beautiful young ladies, Min SunYe, Kim YooBin, Park YeEun, Ahn SoHee and Woo HyeLim. They range in ages witht the youngest at 19 to the oldest at 23. They have appeared in many commercials, opening acts and now their latest single recorde with Akon, titled "Like Money", is sure to get them fame in the US.

You can only hear their latest single on Kiss Future Hits on 93.1 Kiss Fm! Enjoy!
