KISS-FM's Summer of Love Brunch Series Ends with an Additional Date of 'Steel Magnolias'

Due to popular demand KISS-FM’s Summer of Love Brunch Series has added an additional showing of Steel Magnolias set for this weekend, August 19 – 20, 2017.

KISS-FM along with the Alamo Draft House teamed up this summer featuring some of your favorite movies kicking it off with the classic film, Gone with the Wind – and now as the series comes to an end we are closing it out with the 1989 comedy, romance and drama, Steel Magnolias. The film stars Sally Field, Julia Roberts, Dolly Parton and Shirley MacLaine and Roberts actually won a golden Globe for best supporting actress for her role as Shelby Eatenton Latcherie.

Over the year’s, Steel Magnolias has collected a strong following and our original showing is already selling out so the Alamo Draft House has added an additional movie and brunch showing on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11 a.m.

Tickets are on sale now at the Alamo Draft House Montecillo for only $25 and includes: one movie ticket, a glass of sparkling wine, and your choice of Belgian Waffles (with cream cheese, strawberries, whipped cream, powdered sugar) or Migas Frittata (tortilla chips, cheddar, bell pepper, red onion and serrano baked with eggs and topped with Siracha-sour cream, cilantro and cotija cheese).
