A fireworks spectacular kicks off the weekend as the El Paso Chihuahuas face the Fresno Grizzlies (Houston Astros) in a four-game homestand at Southwest University Park beginning on Saturday, May 16 through Tuesday, May 19, 2015.

The fireworks spectacular will light up the sky on Military Appreciation Night presented as the Chihuahuas honor our troops and their respective branches for Armed Forces Day.

Sunday’s day game is Team Autograph Day presented by Sharpie, where the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a free team poster with the Chihuahuas’ players and coaches available for autographs before the game.

Military Monday includes a Salute to Scrubs, honoring the men and women in the medical profession, on May 18. Military personnel, past and present, receive a ticket in Zone E for $10 with Military ID.

The series ends on May 19 with the final Baseball in Education Day of the year. The day will be focused around Anti-Bullying and students will learn the importance of being a buddy, not a bully. Emily Koch, star of Wicked, will be singing the National Anthem.

The Chihuahuas are offering a business person special for $25 that includes a ticket and meal in the Sun Kings Saloon. This 11:05 a.m. game will also be the last day game until August 30.

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance at either of the two box office locations (Durango Street and Santa Fe Street) or online at EPChihuahuas.com.
