Almost overnight, El Paso singer Khalid's dreams "are becoming reality."

The 19-year-old America's High graduate just had his debut single "Location" certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after reaching sales of 1 million units.

In the record biz, when your platter goes Platinum your record company gives you a gigantic plaque to commemorate the achievement.

Khalid was understandably jacked about the honor, posting a photo of himself on Instagram with said gigantic plaque.

"My first platinum single, man I can't even process this right now," he captioned the pic. "Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, love you guys Dreams are becoming reality."

"Location" hit No. 1 at Urban Radio, Top 3 at Rhythmic and is in the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Khalid has performed the song on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and "Good Morning America."
