Katy Perry Speaks Out on Rumors of Romance With Robert Ackroyd

Other than some paparazzi PDA photos, Katy Perry has remained mum on her rumored relationship with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd … until now.

The singer told USA Today that she’s not ready for a relationship just yet. “That’s not even appropriate to label,” the ‘Wide Awake’ singer said. “There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it’s not really appropriate to have anything serious.”

Sounds like she’s still on the mend — and perhaps the rebound — from her brief marriage to comedian and actor Russell Brand. Still, Perry and Ackroyd have packed on the PDA for cameras everywhere from Coachella to his hometown of London, so it’s only natural for people to speculate that something is up with the pair.

“I have a second chance on life, to get maybe a better situation,” she enthused. “For me, right now, I’m totally not looking. I’m just looking to heal. And I’m on that path. I’m not down on love.”
