Someone’s not a Belieber and it’s L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine.

Justin Bieber was apparently trying to elude the paparazzi and get them off his back while driving on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles in his swagged out Fisker Karma. The car may be environmentally responsible, but apparently its driver isn’t highway cautious! The Biebs was cited for speeding, having hit the 80mph mark. The witness who called 911 to dime him out was Zine, a former LAPD motor officer who believes that the ‘Boyfriend’ singer should have been arrested and stripped of his driving privileges.

Well, if you believe Zine’s account of the Biebs’ driving, the teen was blasting down the Hollywood Freeway at a dangerous speed of over 100 mph. He tells TMZ that the singer was “driving like a maniac. He was weaving in and out of traffic. There was hardly any space between cars as he weaved from lane to lane.”

Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, weighed in, saying that Zine is just looking for a headline. He did confirm that his charge was cited for doing 80 mph because of the paparazzi chase. Even after receiving a ticket, the paparazzi continued their hot pursuit and JB called 911. Cops arrived on the scene, warning the paps to chill.
