Justin Bieber + Selena Gomez Spotted Ring Shopping

Is Justin Bieber ready to put a ring on it? The Canadian pop star and his love, Selena Gomez, were recently spotted shopping for a diamond bauble, which, naturally, has launched a ripple of rumors.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, onlookers allegedly saw the teen couple looking at pricey rings “in a couple of major jewelry stores,” although the paper does not go into specifics about where or when. The report adds that “several people close to the superstar couple say they’re convinced an engagement is in the very near future.”

Now, none of these claims have been confirmed by The Biebs, Gomez or any legitimate representative from their camps, so Beliebers should take the news with a grain (or truckload) of salt. While we’d love to see a happily-ever-after outcome for the star couple, we’re not Googling for their registry just yet.

Some Jelena history for you: Bieber and Gomez began dating at the end of 2010, but went public with their romance at the Vanity Fair’s 2011 Oscar party. The ‘Spring Breakers’ star then went on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ to reveal that JB’s management had actually called her momager to set up their first date. In February 2012, Gomez received a “J” ring from her man for Valentine’s Day, but she later insisted it was “just for fun.”
