Before his death, Juan Gabriel recorded a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s song ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain?’ for the Latin tribute album to the band.

One of Mexico’s most beloved artists, Juan Gabriel, died on Sunday, August 28, in Los Angeles at the age of 66. His death was reported due to a massive heart attack and was set to perform in El Paso the same day of his passing at the Don Haskins Center that evening.

But before his death, Gabriel took part in the Latin tribute album to Creedence Clearwater Revival, titled, “Quiero Creedence” The Latin tribute album which features many famous and popular Latin artists such as Juanes, Los Enanitos Verdes, Ozomatli, Bunburry, Los Loney Boys and many more.

Juan Gabriel and his band covered CCR’s 1971 hit; Have You Ever Seen the Rain lending his own Latin style to the song.
