Johnny Rockets to Open Location at Cielo Vista Mall

International restaurant franchise Johnny Rockets is bringing its “classic hamburgers” and “world-famous” hand-spun shakes to Cielo Vista Mall.

The Cruzar Group, which owns the local franchise rights, will open a second location inside the east side mall in September. The first location in west El Paso near UTEP is still under construction, but is expected to open in August.

Franchise owners Juan F. Cruz and Paulina A. Zaragoza signed an agreement last summer to open no less than three restaurants here in town. Word on the street is that third location will be at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso, although the rumor has not been officially confirmed.

Johnny Rockets specializes in burgers, fries, and shakes. Its restaurants are known for their 1950s diner-style décor and its dancing servers.
