Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Epic Split Defies the Laws of Physics – But Is It Real?

Holy moley, Jean-Claude Van Damme just melted my brain! A commercial featuring the actor/martial arts expert doing an epic split between two big rigs that are driving backwards, side-by-side has me and the whole world wondering just how real it is. Granted, the actor's splits are legendary, but this one is mind blowing.

In the ad, Van Damme's right foot is on one truck's driver's side mirror, and his left foot is on the other truck's passenger's side mirror. The trucks then slowly move apart until he's doing a split that defies most of the laws of physics I'm familiar with. According to Volvo, not only was it done without using camera tricks or CGI, it was done in one take. (I noticed the video is labeled Live Test 6, though.)
