Frozen or on the rocks?

Today is National Margarita Day! Need I say more? After a long and exhausting week a margarita is just what I need!

What pray-tell is the origin of the margarita? Well, one story talks about how Rita Hayworth was down in Tijuana, Mexico working it as a dancer in the ‘40s and a bartender by the name of Enrique Bastate Gutierrez served up a nice cold, tart and sweet beverage called the Margarita (her given name).

So, if the Margarita is really named after her, then let’s all lift up a glass to Ms. Hayworth and say, Thank You, for inspiring such a delicious concoction!

Where in El Paso can I find the best and most awesome Margarita?
