It’s Cookie Time in El Paso – Girl Scout Cookies Go On Sale Saturday

It’s cookie time, people! Woot-woot! Beginning Saturday, Girls Scouts all over El Paso will be going door-to-door — or whatever it is kids today do — selling their famous cookies. Even at the obscene price of $3.50 per box, I will be hunting one down so I can get my Thin Mints and Caramel DeLites freak on.
While we’re on the subject, this year they’re debuting a brand-new treat. Mango Cremes with Nutrifusion. Wait, what? Nutrifusion? Yup, it’s a cookie with vitamins in it. Apparently the Girl Scouts are trying to change the unhealthy image of their cookies. Um, okay, but they’re cookies. No one eats a cookie because it has vitamins in it. We eat cookies because they are a delicious guilty treat.
But I digress. The cookies will be on sale through March 3. Now, where the Thin Mints be at?
