Is Lady Gaga going to be the first artist to sing in outer space? And will she be doing it after launching from Spaceport America? According to Us magazine she is. Plans are supposedly underway for a three-day high-tech music festival in 2015 called "Zero G Colony," which will take place at Spaceport America, located 89 miles north of El Paso, just west of the White Sands Missile Range.

The magazine's website describes the event as a "high-concept ground event music festival, where guests will experience A-list entertainment, music, cutting-edge technology and futuristic attractions." The 'A-list entertainment' will climax with Lady Gaga boarding a Virgin Galactic SpaceShip Two spacecraft and blasting off into space, where she will then become the first ever-recording artist to do a show in zero gravity.

Of course, she could just be playing off the rumor and using it to publicize her new album. I guess you'll just have to check back here for an update on 11-10.
