Is El Paso Still The Safest City In America?

According to recent police records, the murder rate in El Paso has climbed, compared to this same time last year. So far in 2012, there have been 18 murders, compared to 16 in 2011. That’s an increase of 13%.  Burglary and Larceny have also increased, 3% and 4% respectively. The good news though, is that Auto Thefts have decreased 22%. 1,536 cars were ripped off in 2011, compared to only 1,204 so far in 2012.
