Increased Security at Shawn Mendes Concert in El Paso

Fans of Shawn Mendes be ready for enhanced security in place this Saturday, October 13^th at the Don Haskins Center.

Promoters of the Shawn Mendes concert will amp up their security this weekend and attendees are asked to arrive with plenty of time to go through their security protocols.

The following list of items will not be allowed at the Don Haskins Center for the Shawn Mendes concert including:

• Large backpacks, bags, purses or totes
• Anything 4.5 inches x 6.5 inches (11.4 centimeters x 16.51 centimeters) or smaller is allowed
• Glass items
• Professional cameras, to include any camera with detachable lenses
• Audio and video recorders
• Radio scanning/jamming equipment
• Weapons of any sort
• Fireworks
• Banners with poles
• Political banners
• Laser pointers or noise makers
• Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or paraphernalia
• Selfie sticks
• Laptop computers or tablets
• Coolers
• Luggage of any kind
• Camera bags

There will also be a line for attendees who do not have a purse or bag and want quick entrance into the venue. Also for those folks who have chosen the mobile delivery option for their tickets, you will be able to access tickets through Ticketmaster’s mobile app or by visiting Ticketmaster’s website via their mobile devices. Attendees are encouraged to access their mobile tickets prior to entering the security area to expedite entry to the event.
