Iconic Central El Paso Bar Goes Up In Flames

An iconic central El Paso bar went up in flames this morning. The building on the corner of Myrtle and Cotton that houses Goldie's Bar caught fire around 6 o'clock this morning. As you can see from the picture, it looks like there is some pretty serious damage.

I'm so sad about this. I loved Goldie's and I hope it will reopen and the building can be saved.
