It's summertime and the Humane Society of El Paso is in dire need of some essentials for cats and dogs being sheltered there. Find out how to donate here.

The Humane Society of El Paso shelters, cares for and helps homeless dogs and cats from all our the borderland. While staying at the Humane Society of El Paso, one of the great things they shelter does is gives treats to the cats and dogs. The treats are used for training but also given to them just to show they're loved.

The Humane Society is asking for donations for any type of "chewy treats" for the dogs to enjoy. They also gave a link to the Petsmart website with the types of treats they are looking for. Popular types are:

Milk-bone Soft and Chewy Dog Snacks
Purina Busy Bone Tiny Chew Dog Treat
Beggin' Strips
Pup-Peroni
Dentley's Rawhide Chew Chips
Cesar Softies Dog Treats
Authority Chewy Wrapped Dog Treat

Any donations can be dropped off at the humane society, located at 4991 Fred Wilson Avenue. They are open Monday through Friday, 11 am – 6 pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm.
