A cyclist participating in a bike race in Utah over the weekend slammed into the side of a car at full speed, and the terrifying crash was caught on camera.

It happened on Guardsman's Pass during the Tour of Utah. A support car just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time as the cyclist were negotiating a hairpin turn on the road. Or maybe it was in the right place at the right time because it looks like he was headed right into the trees and perhaps over the edge if he hadn't hit the car.

The cyclist, an Irish guy named Matt Brammeier, suffered multiple broken ribs and a fractured pelvis, but he's expected to recover fully. Or as Brammeier himself put it, it's "all good in the hood guys".
