War was declared Sunday when, before the Golden Globes, Sir Elton told a reporter that the Madonna had no bleeping chance of winning the Best Original Song award. When the reporter said, "Those are fighting words," Elton replied, "Those are accurate words."  When Madge was told of the comment later in the evening, she replied, “Was he wearing a dress?” … adding, "may the best man win."

Well, Madonna did win, and that didn't go over too well in the John household. His husband David Furnish took to Facebook to blast the Material Mom. He wrote, "Madonna. Best song???? [Bleep] off!!! Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."
