THE LATEST ON THE SIMON SAGA: SIMON COWELL is pressuring his soon-to-be baby mama Lauren Silverman to settle her divorce immediately. Word on the street is Simon is so upset with the bad publicity he's receiving as a result of knocking up his friend's wife, he's insisting to Lauren that she not fight the prenup.

He's supposedly told her that any money she’ll get from Andrew is minimal, and it doesn’t matter anyway because he's loaded and he’ll take care of her. But sources tell the New York Post the main problem is that Lauren and Andrew are fighting over custody of their 7-year-old son, and she doesn’t want to give in too easily.

Meanwhile ... the revelations are just getting uglier for Simon. The latest -- the New York Post reports that his baby mama-to-be said she would be visiting her mother to cover her booty calls with him. Even worse, a source tells the Post that while this was going on, Lauren was telling Andrew that she wanted to try to repair their marriage -- in an effort to get past the 10-year mark in their pre-nup.

PRESIDENT OBAMA PUTS KIM AND KANYE ON BLAST: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA is apparently not a KIMYE fan. In fact, he thinks they're the reason why kids today are so obsessed with fame. In a recent interview with Amazon's Kindle Singles, the POTUS threw shade on KIM KARDASHIAN and her Klan, and boyfriend KANYE WEST for being a bad influence on today's youth. He basically accused them of being the reason why kids have unrealistic expectations of what life is about, and are so preoccupied with money and celebrity.

"The American dream involved some pretty basic stuff -- a good job where you felt some security, a good education -- people felt if they worked hard they could get there. We weren't exposed to the things we didn't have in the same way that kids these days are. There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success," the pres said in the interview.

This isn't the first time the president has put Kanye on blast. If you recall, a few years ago when 'Ye dissed TAYLOR SWIFT at the VMAs he called him a "jackass".

OPRAH STOPS LINDSAY LOHAN FROM LEAVING THE COUNTRY: LINDSAY LOHAN won't be vacationing in Europe as she planned -- and it's all because of OPRAH.

Linds had booked a trip overseas as a reward for completing rehab and was scheduled to leave last night, but sources say Oprah reportedly told Lindsay she should avoid the vacation because the temptation to relapse would be too great. According to TMZ, Oprah called Lindsay repeatedly to persuade her to stay home and she finally relented.

Meanwhile ... LoHo has already sat down with Oprah for her first post-rehab interview and a brief, uneventful teaser hit the Web on Sunday. “Are you an addict?,” Oprah is heard asking, followed by, “What does it feel like to be both an adjective and a verb for child-star-gone-wrong?” Lindsay is seen in the clip wearing a bright orange dress, although she is never heard answering any questions. The interview airs Sunday, August 18th.
