Hollywood Dirt: Russell Brand wanted for questioning + ‘Bachelor’ Ben Makes His Choice But Are They Still Together?

CELEBRITIES IN TROUBLE - RUSSELL BRAND: RUSSELL BRAND was named in a New Orleans police report last night for allegedly snatching a phone from a paparazzo and chucking it through a window. The photog told cops he was with a group of other photographers when he began to shoot Brand with his iPhone. Brand allegedly flipped out, wrestled the phone out of his hand and threw it at a nearby building, shattering a glass window.

The paparazzo immediately filed a report citing "criminal damages," according to TMZ. Police are investigating and would like to speak with Brand. Calls to Russell's rep by the gossip site have not been returned.

'BACHELOR' PROPOSES BUT ARE THEY STILL TOGETHER???: The most-hated girl in the house got the proposal last night. ' Bachelor' Ben made his choice and it's tough noogies for Lindzi! Ben chose Courtney. At the final Rose Ceremony, Ben told the model from Arizona that he knew they would last forever.

Tabloid reports since the shows final taping have told a different story. In fact, host Chris Harrison brought it up in the 'After the Final Rose' special. Harrison hinted at tension between the couple, and brought up Us Weekly's reports of Ben's cheating.  Ben denied everything saying, quote, "On my father's grave, I haven't kissed another woman, hooked up with another woman, [or] cheated on Courtney. [It's] tabloid fodder . . . [I'm] not kissing anybody."

He then added that he needed some space for a few weeks to, quote, "reassess", but now, he's ready to resume his engagement. When asked about their status, Courtney responded, "We're together, I think."

RIHANNA'S CHILDHOOD PASTOR SAYS'SHE'S NOT SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE': RIHANNA'S childhood pastor thinks RiRi needs to clean up her act. According to not always reliable UK "Sun", Barbados pastor Bishop Vibert Lowe said he's "praying for" her and that "she's not setting a good example."

On RiRi reuniting with Chris Brown, he said, "After all he did, I'd tell her to steer clear of him. He's not the correct influence on her life." He added, "I don't see her much when she comes back - she seems too busy - but she should spend more time in church."

BRITNEY SPEARS CLOSE TO SIGNING $15M 'X FACTOR' DEAL???: Talk that BRITNEY SPEARS will join the "X Factor" judging panel is ramping up again. The rumor last week was that the initial offer of $10 million had been turned down, but word now is that Spears is about to sign a ''$12-15 million deal'' to join the show. The sticking point this time is over how many seasons she would have to commit to. A source told Hollywood Life Simon wants at least a two-year commitment and Britney wants to be able to duck out of the show if she doesn't want to continue after the first season.

In addition to Britney, Simon is also reportedly trying to get ADELE to join the panel. A source supposedly close to Cowell tells Britain's Daily Star that Cowell ""thinks Adele's success and achievements are incredible" and that having her on the panel would "bring a lot of credibility and an extra dimension to his show.''

KATY PERRY'S DAD TALKS ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER'S DIVORCE: KATY PERRY and Russell Brand's divorce was rumored to be one of spite and revenge however, according to Katy's father,it is no such thing. Keith Hudson told 'Us Weekly' he still has a very good relationship with his ex-son-in-law, and added that he'd "just received a text from him the other day in fact."

Of the divorce, Hudson said, "Katy is doing well just now. Her career got really busy and she did not get to see that much of Russell -- it was just one of those things."
