Hollywood Dirt: Russell Brand Lashes Out at Talk Show Host for Asking About Katy Perry + More
RUSSELL BRAND SCOLDS TELEVISION HOST FOR ASKING HIM ABOUT KATY PERRY: RUSSELL BRAND was not very happy that UK talk show host Graham Norton asked him about his divorce from KATY PERRY during an interview over the weekend.
“My mom is here. She got upset when you dragged up my marriage. I saw her cry, Graham,” said Brand, who was there to promote 'Rock of Ages'. “I have come here to promote a film and you made my mom cry. I don’t see you as that sort of person, Graham.”
Norton said he only asked Russell about Katy because she had been on a week earlier and they talked about the split, but Brand kept blasting away. “Will people sit and think ‘Oh that’s odd?,’” asked Brand, adding, “What I would have done, mate, in your position is come up to me before the show and gone ‘Eh, listen it’s a bit odd your ex-missus was on last week. I might mention it, is that OK?’”
It's odd that Brand would get so worked up. Not only has he discussed his divorce in previous interviews, he joked about the split while hosting the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month as well. Oh, and don't bother looking for any video of his rant on the web, though. Sadly, it was cut and never made it on-air.

And then it happened. Julianne put Ryan on the spot in front of his entire listening audience when she said, quote, "All right. Love you. Bye." His response? Quote, "Bye." When the people in the studio pointed out to him that she'd just uttered the "L" word, he responded by cutting to a commercial. Dayum, Seacrest! Way to leave her hanging.
MADONNA'S TOUR DEMANDS: Many singers have outrageous tour demands and of course, but MADONNA is taking it to another level. According to In Touch, Madge reportedly requires her dressing room to have 20 international phone lines. She prefers the room to be draped in a special fabric and supposedly requests that it is filled with lillies and white and light-pink roses that have their stems trimmed to six inches.
As for her hotel room, a source tells the tab, quote, "She requires all furniture be removed from the rooms and replaced with her own pieces that she has shipped in."
BABY POOP - GIULIANA RANCIC EXPECTING A BOY: BILL and GIULIANA RANCIC have revealed the sex of the baby they are expecting. "We are beyond excited to be having a little boy," says Bill. Added Giuliana, "We just can't wait!" The pair, who has struggled with not only infertility, but Giuliana’s breast cancer, announced in April that they were expecting via a gestational surrogate.
KIM KARDASHIAN TELLS OPRAH SHE IS A 'CHANGED PERSON': KIM KARDASHIAN claims she's a changed woman. Kim told OPRAH in an interview for Oprah's Next Chapter, which aired on OWN last night, that she had an "epiphany" in the months since her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries -- and now has a new outlook on life. Kim told Winfrey that she's "totally growing up" and is now a "changed person."
Other highlights of Oprah's interview with the Kardashian family included O asking Kim if she would be in the same place today if she hadn't made her sex tape. Kim responded by acknowledging that the sex tape was what made her famous, but that just meant she had to work much harder to show people who she really was.
In other Kardashian news ... Kourtney is still pregnant. Thursday night she posted a picture of a Chick-fil-a cup on her Instagram account, with the caption, “Chick-fil-A and a water birth. No big deal.” The posting prompted fans to begin congratulating the reality star on her second child, but it turns out fans were reading too much into it. “Witnessed a water birth last night with KhloeKardashian,” she clarified in a tweet. “What an experience! All I can say is WOW!”
